The heart of our business is our people. And the MAD team includes many wise heads as well as a bunch of enthusiastic young shoulders, who create work in all media. We don’t limit ourselves to working in one channel like digital or television.

Our talent pool resides locally and internationally. Some have worked in the industry longer than others have been alive, and we are yet to find a marketing problem we cannot solve.

Our carbon footprint is kept to a minimum, through efficient use of office space, hot-desks, wireless technology and home-offices.

Like other agencies we have won loads of awards around the world for creatively driven results - in Australia, Asia and the US. But unlike other agencies we spend our own money to promote our business and our sister brands – The Marketing Campus and BuzzMail. So we know what works from hands-on experience.

Malcolm Auld

Malcolm Auld has run agencies for Ogilvy & Mather Direct, J. Walter Thompson and EuroRSCG Partnership and has owned Malcolm Auld Direct since 1991. He has educated marketing executives in 15 countries. His company BuzzMail, was Australia’s first specialist e-mail marketing agency. His first book, Direct Marketing Made Easy is the largest selling marketing text in Australia. His follow-up, E-mail Marketing Made Easy, was the first non American book on the subject.

John Hancock

John Hancock has 40 years’ experience in Australia, USA, UK and Europe. As National Creative Director of Ogilvy & Mather Direct Australia and Merchandising Director of Cellarmaster Wines he mentored a generation of leading direct marketers, many of whom now head their own businesses. He is a winner of Gold Awards from both ADMA, for 3M, and the USDMA, for Shell.

Ari Tsigris

Ari Tsigris has 26 years’ experience working on both the client and agency side. Owned various agencies, database and call centre companies between 1997 to 2005. He has experience in categories including automotive, Finance, Building & Construction, IT and Packaged Goods. He has developed and managed campaigns that have involved – Advertising, Direct Marketing, Loyalty Programs, B2B, Sales Promotions/Events, Publication/Brochures, CRM, Call Centre/Database, Local Area Marketing, Women’s Marketing, Financial Services Marketing and much more.
